Dark Willow vs Huskar

How this matchup plays

Fighting into a low-health Huskar can be frustrating, as his magic resistance from Berserker's Blood spikes when Dark Willow expects her spells to finish the job. He can also close the distance with Life Break to threaten her directly. On the other hand, Willow has excellent tools for kiting and control. She can use Cursed Crown or Bramble Maze to hold him still, or become untargetable with Shadow Realm to dodge his initiation and wait for her cooldowns to come back up. This creates a standoff where both heroes have solid answers to the other's main threat.

This dynamic often hinges on key item timings. Early on, Dark Willow is great at stalling the map and preventing Huskar from snowballing, using her control to break up his aggression. His main goal is to get a Black King Bar so he can ignore her lockdown and run at her freely. After that point, Willow needs to play more cautiously, positioning far back and using Terrorize to scatter his team. The fight becomes less about her bursting him and more about her enabling her cores to do the job before he can reach the back lines.
