Huskar Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Huskar in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Huskar, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Huskar is a tempo carry whose Berserker's Blood makes him stronger the lower his HP, diving with Life Break and sustaining through Inner Fire. He bullies low-burst, low-control heroes: Anti-Mage, Mars and Tiny can't stop his dives. Huskar is hard-countered by anti-heal and pure burst: Ancient Apparition caps his healing with Ice Blast, Wraith King out-tanks, and Viper or Naga Siren shut off his sustain. Draft tip: Huskar is a brutal dive carry into sustain-light drafts; he's hard-countered by anti-heal (AA), break, and attack-speed slows (Viper).
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Huskar hardest are Wraith King, Ancient Apparition and Phantom Lancer — Huskar wins only 39.0%, 39.6% and 40.6% of ranked matches against them.
How to counter Huskar: why these picks work
- Wraith King — Wraith King happily takes the long melee trade — lifesteal aura sustains through Burning Spears and reincarnation means Huskar's all-in must succeed twice.
- Ancient Apparition — Ice Blast turns off ALL healing — Berserker's Blood, lifesteal, everything. The lower Huskar's HP, the stronger he thinks he is, and the more lethal the shatter becomes.
- Necrophos — Reaper's Scythe is an execute aimed at exactly the HP range Huskar chooses to live in, and Heartstopper Aura taxes him for every second of the HP-trading game.
- Viper — Nethertoxin breaks passives: with Berserker's Blood offline, low-HP Huskar is just a slow hero standing in poison with no magic resistance bonus to hide behind.
