Dawnbreaker vs Huskar

How this matchup plays

Trying to secure a kill after using Life Break is a constant struggle for Huskar in this matchup. He expects to isolate and burn down a single target, but Dawnbreaker's Solar Guardian can arrive from anywhere on the map to turn the gank. The ultimate's stun and heal save his target, leaving Huskar out of position and suddenly fighting two heroes. In a direct brawl, Huskar's passive provides high magic resistance when he's low, but that defense is useless against the heavy physical damage from Dawnbreaker's Starbreaker and basic attacks.

This dynamic forces the Huskar to play around Solar Guardian's cooldown all game. He can't reliably pick off supports or cores to create an advantage before a fight. Instead, he must wait for Dawnbreaker to show on the map or use her ultimate elsewhere before he can safely commit. Dawnbreaker, on the other hand, is free to farm and play her own game, knowing she can instantly punish Huskar's aggression.
