Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Medusa wins the Death Prophet vs Medusa matchup: Medusa beats Death Prophet in 52.16% of 6,260 ranked matches.
Running down Medusa with Exorcism active often ends poorly for Death Prophet. When Medusa triggers Stone Gaze, Death Prophet is forced into a terrible choice: turn away and lose the ability to apply Spirit Siphon, or get stunned and killed. While the stun doesn't stop the ghosts, it leaves DP completely vulnerable. On top of that, Medusa’s Mana Shield is exceptionally good at soaking up the sustained damage from both Exorcism and Spirit Siphon. Throughout the game, a well-placed Mystic Snake can also starve Death Prophet of the mana she needs to function, making it hard for her to apply pressure at any stage. Medusa has a direct answer to DP's aggression and outlasts her in a direct fight.
