A well-timed Gust from Drow Ranger can completely dismantle Mars's initiation. The silence prevents him from using his spells, and the knockback creates the exact distance Drow needs to kite him with Frost Arrows. On the other hand, if Mars successfully catches Drow inside his Arena of Blood, she's trapped and easily killed. Even if she's outside the Arena, she can't attack anyone inside, effectively removing her from the fight. This fundamental clash of abilities makes the matchup incredibly volatile, as each hero has a single button that can completely neutralize the other.
