Thinking you can shred Medusa with armor reduction is a common trap. Elder Titan's Natural Order aura does nothing against Mana Shield, which is where all her effective health comes from. His entire burst combo from Earth Splitter and Echo Stomp gets soaked by her mana pool, and he lacks the sustained follow-up to actually drain it. On the other hand, Medusa makes his life miserable. Stone Gaze completely neuters his ability to get into the fight and land his spells; he's forced to turn away and becomes useless. She can also comfortably hit both Elder Titan and his Astral Spirit with Split Shot, punishing his positioning from a safe distance.
