How this matchup plays

Using Blade Fury to ignore Black Hole is the core of this matchup. Juggernaut can spin to either avoid getting caught or to run in and kill a channeling Enigma. This gives his team a reliable, built-in way to stop Enigma's most impactful spell, forcing Enigma to play around a major cooldown that isn't his own. While Midnight Pulse and Malefice can still be threats, the presence of Blade Fury means Enigma’s teamfight-winning potential is always under pressure.

This dynamic forces Enigma to change his priorities. Instead of looking for the perfect five-man ultimate, his main goal becomes catching Juggernaut without Blade Fury available or waiting for him to use it. A patient Enigma can still find good Black Holes, but he loses a lot of his surprise initiation potential. Juggernaut, meanwhile, gets to play a bit more freely, knowing he holds the trump card for the enemy's biggest spell. This often leads to a game of cat-and-mouse where Enigma is trying to find a window Juggernaut isn't prepared for.
