Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Enigma wins the Enigma vs Void Spirit matchup: Enigma beats Void Spirit in 51.49% of 9,729 ranked matches.
People often assume Void Spirit can easily interrupt Black Hole, but the real contest happens before the spell is even cast. Void Spirit is slippery, using Astral Step to play the edges of a fight and Dissimilate to dodge initiations. If he anticipates the Black Hole, he can use Aether Remnant to stop the channel from a safe distance. This forces Enigma to be extremely patient and wait for Void Spirit to commit or get caught out of position. A successful jump on a Void Spirit without charges is a dead Void Spirit, but a telegraphed attempt is a wasted ultimate. The entire interaction hinges on who has better vision and timing, making it a true toss-up.
