Enigma vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Trying to channel a full Black Hole against a Zeus can be a real headache. Enigma relies entirely on his ultimate to win major teamfights, but Zeus has a spammable, long-range interrupt with the mini-stun from his Lightning Bolt. Because Zeus can cast this from a safe distance, he doesn't have to risk getting caught to cancel the spell. This simple interaction means he's a constant threat to Enigma's biggest moment, forcing the Enigma to play around him specifically. Even if Zeus isn't the primary target, his presence alone changes how a fight needs to start.

This dynamic shapes the whole mid-game. Enigma is forced to either catch Zeus in the initial Black Hole or rush a Black King Bar to guarantee the channel. Until then, Zeus's team can play more confidently, knowing they have an easy way to stop a fight-winning ultimate. Zeus can also use his spells to scout common hiding spots in the trees, making it harder for Enigma to find a good initiation without being seen first. It’s not an impossible matchup for Enigma, but it adds a major obstacle he must solve before he can be truly effective.
