Faceless Void vs Huskar

How this matchup plays

Catching Huskar in a Chronosphere is often the only way to deal with him. His entire defensive kit is built around Berserker's Blood, which grants him immense magic resistance as his health gets lower. This does absolutely nothing against the pure physical damage that Faceless Void deals. Conversely, Huskar’s own pressure comes from Burning Spears, a magical damage-over-time effect that can overwhelm Void early on. Time Walk can heal some of the damage, but it won't remove the stacks, forcing Void to play carefully.

The game becomes a race against the clock. Huskar's goal is to group up with his team and run at towers, leveraging his early strength before Faceless Void comes online. He wants to end the game quickly. Void's plan is the opposite: survive the early aggression, farm key damage and attack speed items, and look for opportunities to trap Huskar in Chronosphere. A well-placed ultimate can delete Huskar from a fight, but if Huskar gets ahead, he can build items to survive the lockdown and keep up his pressure.
