Faceless Void vs Oracle

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst a target inside Chronosphere runs into a huge problem against Oracle. His ultimate, False Promise, can completely negate the kill attempt by delaying all the damage Faceless Void and his team deal during the lockdown. The target simply walks out of the Chronosphere when it ends, ready to be healed back to full. However, this only works if Oracle can cast his spell. If Oracle himself is caught in the Chronosphere, or if he's too far away to react, he can't save anyone.

This whole matchup hinges on positioning and timing from both sides. The Faceless Void player will actively look for opportunities to catch Oracle in the Chronosphere along with a primary target, taking the save out of the equation entirely. In response, the Oracle player has to play defensively, staying on the edges of the fight to ensure he is not caught and can use False Promise when it matters most. Success for either hero depends completely on how well they predict and execute in those critical teamfight moments.
