How this matchup plays
Thinking that Lycan can simply run Gyrocopter down with Shapeshift is a common mistake. Gyro actually has some decent tools for this fight. Flak Cannon cleans up the summoned wolves very fast, which really cuts into Lycan's overall damage and map pressure. If Lycan does manage to close the distance, he has to stand in a full Rocket Barrage, and that hurts a lot. The matchup can still lean in Lycan’s favor, though, because he controls the engagement.
