Gyrocopter vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Fighting into Snapfire is an uphill battle for Gyrocopter. His whole kit, from Rocket Barrage to Flak Cannon, encourages him to get right into the middle of the enemy team. Snapfire counters this at every turn. A simple Scatterblast slows his approach, Firesnap Cookie can shove him away or save his target, and Mortimer Kisses creates a massive, damaging zone he cannot stand in. Gyrocopter wants to get close, but Snapfire excels at keeping threats at a distance and punishing anyone who tries to breach her perimeter.

This dynamic makes Gyrocopter's game miserable from the start. He struggles to find aggression in lane and is easily zoned out of teamfights later. His usual plan of activating Flak Cannon and running at the enemy is nullified when Snapfire can bombard him from outside his effective range. To have a chance, Gyrocopter’s team needs to find and eliminate Snapfire before the fight properly begins, but her ability to reposition herself or her allies makes that a very difficult task.
