Huskar vs Kez

How this matchup plays

Thinking of Kez as a duelist who can simply parry an all-in from Huskar is a common trap. The real pressure from Huskar doesn't come from a single burst of damage that can be timed and blocked. Instead, it's the relentless magical burn from Burning Spears that melts Kez down over a few seconds. A parry might negate the initial impact of Life Break, but it does little to stop the constant damage-over-time that follows. As Huskar gets lower on health, his Berserker's Blood also makes him incredibly tough to finish off with spells.

This dynamic forces Kez to play a reactive game. Huskar will try to hit his timing and repeatedly run at Kez, forcing fights before Kez can farm up a Black King Bar or other defensive items. Kez’s main goal is to survive this window, using his mobility and any help from his team to create space after Huskar commits. If Kez can successfully delay the game and get his core items online, his physical damage as an agility carry can eventually overwhelm Huskar, but weathering that mid-game storm is the entire challenge.
