Trying to burn down Outworld Destroyer is a classic glass-cannon-versus-glass-cannon situation. The pure damage from Arcane Orb is the key here, as it completely ignores the massive magic resistance Huskar gets from Berserker's Blood. This allows OD to trade hits effectively where most other casters would fail. Furthermore, Astral Imprisonment is a perfect counter to a Life Break initiation. Saving himself or an ally with the banish wastes Huskar's commitment and gives the team time to turn on him, making any jump a significant gamble.

The outcome of this lane and the game often depends on who lands the first punch. Huskar relies on an early lead to snowball, using his initial power spike to run at Outworld Destroyer before he can farm key defensive items. If Huskar can get ahead and build a Black King Bar, he can be very difficult to stop. Conversely, if OD survives the initial aggression, he can use items like a Force Staff to create distance.
