Huskar vs Wraith King

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down a Wraith King with Life Break is often a trap. Huskar commits his biggest spell and a huge chunk of his own health, only for Wraith King to stand right back up with Reincarnation. Worse, Wraith King primarily deals physical damage with his critical strikes, completely bypassing the magic resistance Huskar gets when he's low. A single stun from Wraithfire Blast can be a death sentence, stopping Huskar from healing back up and letting Wraith King finish the job.

This makes Huskar's mid-game timing incredibly awkward. His usual strategy of running at a key target and overpowering them fails completely against Wraith King. Huskar is forced to ignore the frontliner and dive the back line, but that often leaves him exposed. For Wraith King, the plan is simple: farm until Reincarnation is ready, then dare Huskar to make a move. He can confidently stand his ground, knowing that even if Huskar manages the initial kill, the fight is far from over.
