Huskar vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Thinking you can out-sustain Undying in a lane is a fatal mistake for Huskar. The entire hero concept for Huskar relies on getting to low health to gain attack speed and magic resistance. Undying directly counters this with Decay, which doesn't simply deal damage; it steals strength. This lowers Huskar's maximum HP, making him far more fragile and easier to burst than he expects. Even if he survives the initial engagement, a well-placed Tombstone creates a field of zombies that will slow and chase him down, preventing any escape after he uses Life Break to jump in.

This dynamic gets worse for Huskar as the game progresses. In teamfights, Undying's Flesh Golem amplifies all incoming damage, turning the normally durable raid boss into a primary target that melts under focus fire. Huskar wants to be the center of attention, tanking spells and right-clicks, but Undying's kit completely undermines this plan. To have any impact, Huskar is forced to play from the edges of a fight and wait for Undying's key spells to be used, which goes against his aggressive nature and typical timings.
