Juggernaut vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Fighting for farm in the lane often comes down to a cooldown game. Razor can apply immense pressure on Juggernaut with Static Link, draining away his damage and making it impossible to trade hits. This forces Juggernaut to use Blade Fury defensively, either to break the link or simply to secure a creep wave while immune to Razor's spells. Because Blade Fury is also Juggernaut's main aggression tool, having to burn it to survive slows his tempo and can make the lane very difficult. The entire laning phase revolves around the timing of these two key abilities.

Later on, the dynamic shifts toward teamfight execution. Juggernaut looks for an opening to use Omnislash on Razor before a full Static Link can drain his damage. This often requires support setup or a Blink Dagger to get a clean initiation. Razor's goal is the opposite: he wants to kite, find Juggernaut with his link from a safe distance, and render him a non-threat. Items that help survive Omnislash, like a Ghost Scepter or Eul's Scepter, become critical for Razor. The game is often decided by which hero better dictates the terms of engagement.
