Juggernaut vs Templar Assassin

How this matchup plays

Picking Templar Assassin into a Juggernaut is a major risk because his kit directly dismantles her main defensive tool. Refraction blocks a specific number of damage instances, but Blade Fury deals its magic damage in many small, rapid ticks. This means a single spin can shred all of TA's Refraction charges in a second, leaving her completely exposed to physical attacks and spells from Juggernaut's team. Even his ultimate, Omnislash, applies multiple attack instances that quickly burn through her shield. Juggernaut simply has all the tools to get through her primary defense.

This dynamic forces Templar Assassin to play cautiously for the whole game. She can’t reliably burst Juggernaut down because he can become magic immune with Blade Fury, and his Healing Ward can negate much of her team's follow-up damage. Her best bet is to get a massive early lead and try to end the game before Juggernaut gets his core items. Juggernaut, on the other hand, can play aggressively. He can push into TA’s side of the map, knowing she has few good ways to fight him head-on. His goal is to force fights, use Blade Fury to strip her defenses, and let his team do the rest.
