Juggernaut vs Tusk

How this matchup plays

Using Snowball to initiate on Juggernaut is a major risk for Tusk. A well-timed Blade Fury will make Juggernaut immune to the Snowball's stun and damage, leaving Tusk stuck in melee range of a spinning, magic-immune carry. Tusk’s entire kit is full of slows from Ice Shards, Walrus Punch, and Tag Team, all of which Juggernaut can instantly dispel with his spin, allowing him to easily turn and fight or simply walk away. This forces Tusk to play reactively, as his standard gank combo is completely nullified if Blade Fury is available.

This dynamic gives Juggernaut a lot of breathing room across the map. He can farm aggressively, knowing that Tusk can't reliably lock him down for a kill without help or a mistake. A patient Tusk will try to bait out the spin or use Ice Shards to trap Juggernaut for his allies, but he can't be the primary initiator. Later in the game, Tusk has no inherent way to survive Omnislash, making him a vulnerable target. The matchup often comes down to Tusk trying to play around a key cooldown, which generally favors Juggernaut.
