How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Windranger often fails due to Windrun, but Juggernaut has a reliable answer. His Blade Fury deals magic damage, which goes straight through her evasion and ensures she can't completely negate his aggression. While Windranger can still slow a spinning Juggernaut with Windrun's aura, he's at least guaranteed to do damage during the chase. The dynamic flips with their ultimates, as Windrun allows her to evade most Omnislash hits. This creates a cat-and-mouse game where Juggernaut's spell immunity isn't a perfect solution, and Windranger's physical dodge isn't always enough to save her from his magical output.

This interaction defines their duels across the game. Early on, Juggernaut can often force Windrun defensively and win trades with his spin. As the game progresses, Windranger looks for pickoffs with Shackleshot, trying to build a lead before Juggernaut can itemize against her evasion. A timely Nullifier or Abyssal Blade from Juggernaut can shut her down completely, nullifying her escape. Windranger's success depends on landing her stun and kiting him, while Juggernaut aims to close the distance and apply damage that she cannot dodge.
