Kez vs Monkey King

How this matchup plays

A duel between these two often comes down to a test of reflexes. Monkey King wants to build up his Jingu Mastery stacks for a huge physical burst, but a well-timed parry from Kez can turn that damage right back at him. This forces a mind game where neither hero can fully commit. Monkey King can always use Tree Dance to disengage and wait for his moment, resetting the fight from an advantage. Kez, in turn, has to anticipate this and position carefully, using his stance-swapping to adapt to the fight as it moves.

Throughout the game, both heroes occupy a similar role as mobile, single-target fighters. They hunt for pickoffs and skirmishes rather than big team brawls. This means they often end up hunting each other, and the outcome depends on who has better vision or gets the initiation. In larger fights, Wukong's Command can zone Kez out, but he's also slippery enough to potentially ignore the ultimate and go for a different target, leaving Monkey King to deal with the rest of his team. It's a matchup of equals looking for the same openings.
