Monkey King (MK) Counter Picks — 7.41f
Who counters Monkey King (MK) in Dota 2 7.41f? Counter picks and matchups for Monkey King, ranked by win rate from ranked matches.
Monkey King is a slippery carry whose Boundless Strike crits from range, Tree Dance grants mobility, and Wukong's Command zones an area with clones. He's strong into immobile, low-AoE heroes: Nature's Prophet, Gyrocopter and Timbersaw can't clear him out of his Command circle. MK is hard-countered by AoE that erases his clones and knocks him off trees: Phoenix and Techies wipe his Command, while Spectre out-scales and Wraith King out-tanks. Draft tip: Monkey King is a strong skirmish carry into low-AoE drafts; he's shut down by AoE clear (Phoenix, Sand King) and knockback that cancels his ult.
In Dota 2 7.41f, the heroes that counter Monkey King hardest are Wraith King, Outworld Destroyer and Phantom Lancer — Monkey King wins only 41.2%, 42.0% and 42.3% of ranked matches against them.
