Lifestealer vs Razor

How this matchup plays

A fight between these two often hinges on the timing of Razor's Static Link and Lifestealer's Rage. Because Rage grants spell immunity, Lifestealer can instantly break the link if Razor manages to apply it. This gives him a clean window to fight without having his damage drained. For Razor, the goal becomes baiting out Rage before committing the link, forcing Lifestealer to either fight weakened or retreat. It’s a classic standoff where the first one to use their key spell at the wrong time often loses the trade.

Throughout the game, this dynamic creates windows of opportunity for both sides. When Rage is on cooldown, Razor is free to dominate, confidently connecting the Static Link and running Lifestealer down. Lifestealer, in turn, plays around his own cooldown, looking for moments to surprise Razor with an Infest or a Smoke gank while Rage is ready. The winner is usually the one who better dictates the pace of engagement, forcing the other to use their main ability at a disadvantage or with poor positioning.
