Lifestealer vs Terrorblade

How this matchup plays

Expecting Sunder to save you from a gank often leads to a quick death. Lifestealer can simply use Rage to become magic immune, making him an invalid target for the health swap. This interaction defines the matchup. Terrorblade's other main defensive tool, Reflection, is also negated by Rage, leaving him with few ways to kite or fight back once Lifestealer gets on top of him. Furthermore, Feast lets Lifestealer drain a percentage of Terrorblade's large health pool, melting him surprisingly fast even when he is in Metamorphosis.

This forces the game into a specific pattern. Lifestealer hits his mid-game timing and wants to fight constantly, hunting for pickoffs. A Terrorblade has to play from behind, using illusions to farm safely and avoiding any direct confrontation until he has multiple big items. The problem is that Lifestealer excels at closing the distance with Open Wounds or an Infest bomb from an ally. It's very difficult for the Terrorblade to find the space he needs to come online before Lifestealer and his team have already taken control of the map.
