Lifestealer vs Venomancer

How this matchup plays

Using Rage instantly purges every slow and poison Venomancer can apply, rendering his entire kit almost useless. Lifestealer doesn't have to worry about the damage from Poison Nova or the kiting potential of Venomous Gale; he simply activates his magic immunity and walks up to his target. Venomancer relies on whittling enemies down with damage over time and slows, but Lifestealer negates that whole strategy with a single button. Any poke damage Veno lands before a fight is also quickly healed back up by Lifestealer's passive lifesteal once he starts hitting something.

This dynamic makes teamfights incredibly straightforward for Lifestealer. He can largely ignore the frontline and just run at Venomancer whenever Rage is available. Because Venomancer is slow and lacks a reliable escape, he’s a free kill unless his allies have stuns that work through magic immunity. If his team can’t provide that specific kind of peel, Venomancer has to play so far back that he can't contribute effectively. Lifestealer forces him into a position where he is either a non-factor in the fight or an easy kill to start it.
