How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down a Lifestealer can be frustrating for Windranger. So much of her control and damage comes from magical spells like Shackleshot, but Lifestealer can simply activate Rage to become immune and run straight at her. This forces an immediate reaction from Windranger, who has to use Windrun to evade his physical attacks. This trade of core abilities often results in a standoff where neither hero can effectively harm the other for a short period, preventing it from being a one-sided fight.

The matchup often comes down to cooldowns and positioning. Lifestealer dictates the engagement; if he Rages on Windranger when her Windrun is unavailable, she has few ways to survive.
