Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Lion wins the Lion vs Morphling matchup: Lion beats Morphling in 53.87% of 37,987 ranked matches.
Thinking you can just man-fight a Lion as Morphling is a huge mistake. The entire game plan for Morphling is to survive burst by toggling Attribute Shift to gain strength, but that requires you to be able to cast spells. Lion's advantage comes from his instant disables. A well-timed Hex or Earth Spike will lock Morphling down before he can react, trapping him in his fragile, high-agility form. This small window is all that's needed for Lion to follow up with Finger of Death for an easy kill. He doesn't need to out-damage the strength gain, because he prevents it from being used in the first place, completely shutting down Morphling's core defensive tool.

These rows use the last 30 days of quality-filtered ranked matches, all patches in that span combined — a wider window than the patch-scoped count above, so the per-rank match totals can exceed it.
