How this matchup plays

Trying to find the real Luna in a chaotic teamfight is often a problem for carries, but not for Spectre. Haunt bypasses any illusions or defensive positioning by letting Spectre jump directly onto the real Luna. Once she's there, Luna’s options are poor. Her magical burst from Eclipse is heavily mitigated and reflected by Dispersion, often hurting Luna herself. Since Haunt isolates its target, Spectre’s Desolate deals immense pure damage that Luna’s low health pool simply can't withstand.

This dynamic forces Luna’s hand. Her primary goal is to leverage her faster farming speed to end the game before Spectre gets her essential items. Luna must group with her team, use her glaives to push down towers, and win fights during her mid-game power spike. Spectre is content to let the game go long. Her team can play defensively and make space, knowing that once she's farmed, a single global ultimate can find and eliminate Luna, turning the tide of the entire game.
