Luna vs Tinker

How this matchup plays

Trying to channel Rearm against a Luna is a nightmare. Her Lucent Beam is a point-and-click interrupt that comes out instantly from long range, completely shutting down Tinker's core spell. Since he relies on Rearm to refresh his abilities and Blink Dagger, a single mini-stun can leave him stranded and useless in a fight or when he's trying to farm. This isn't something Tinker can easily dodge or play around with positioning; if Luna has vision and mana, she can stop him from playing his game at almost any point.

This dynamic forces the entire game to play out on Luna's terms. She naturally wants to group up early, push down towers with Moon Glaives, and control the map. This style directly counters Tinker's goal of dragging the game out and split-pushing from the safety of the trees. As Luna's team takes objectives, the map shrinks, leaving Tinker with fewer places to hide and farm. If he ever gets caught out, Luna’s high burst damage from both attacks and Eclipse can kill him before he has a chance to escape, forcing him into a reactive posture he is not well-equipped for.
