How this matchup plays

Deciding whether to pick these heroes together or against each other is a real puzzle. Void Spirit wants to isolate and burst a target from the back line, which is the perfect setup for Luna’s Eclipse to do its job. A lone hero diving in gets punished hard for the aggression. However, Void Spirit is slippery enough to make it complicated. A well-timed Dissimilate can dodge the initial burst or her right-clicks, and his general mobility from Astral Step makes him a hard target to pin down. This creates a tense standoff where neither has an easy kill.

The matchup often hinges on who commits first and with what resources. Void Spirit can hunt and kill Luna while she's farming if her ultimate is on cooldown. Later on, the fight changes completely once Luna gets her Black King Bar. She can activate it, shrug off his entire magic combo, and then shred him with physical damage from her glaives before he can escape. A fight between them is less about who is stronger and more about which one catches the other without their key spells or items ready.
