Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Phantom Assassin wins the Lycan vs Phantom Assassin matchup: Phantom Assassin beats Lycan in 54.42% of 9,316 ranked matches.
Trying to run someone down as Lycan feels completely ineffective against Phantom Assassin. His entire damage output, from both himself and his wolves, is physical and gets neutralized by her Blur. This forces Lycan into a difficult choice: either build an early accuracy item, which derails his timings and slows down his push, or avoid fighting her entirely. While Lycan struggles to apply pressure, Phantom Assassin is free to farm. Eventually, she can simply turn on him. A well-timed Phantom Strike allows her to close the distance instantly, and her critical strikes can burst Lycan down before his lifesteal or Shapeshift speed gives him a chance to respond.
