Lycan vs Timbersaw

How this matchup plays

Controlling the map against a Lycan feels impossible for Timbersaw. Lycan applies pressure everywhere at once, farming enemy camps and threatening towers with his wolves long before Timber has the levels or items to respond. When they do fight, Timbersaw's entire kit struggles. Whirling Death is meant for a few heroes, not a swarm of summons chewing through his mana pool. He can't use Timber Chain to escape because the wolves will maim and surround him, and his Reactive Armor doesn't stack fast enough to survive the focused physical burst. Lycan dictates the pace of the game, and Timbersaw is left without good areas to fight or an efficient way to clear the pack.
