Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Lycan wins the Lycan vs Void Spirit matchup: Lycan beats Void Spirit in 51.51% of 3,440 ranked matches.
Trying to run down Void Spirit during Shapeshift is often a losing proposition. He can dodge the initial contact with Dissimilate and then create more distance with Astral Step, leaving Lycan unable to connect. A well-placed Aether Remnant can also hold Lycan or his summons, wasting precious seconds of his ultimate. On the other hand, Void Spirit lacks the sustained damage to chew through a farmed Lycan and his army. While he can slow down a push with Resonant Pulse, he can't stop it alone. This usually results in a game where Lycan avoids fighting him directly, focusing on objectives while Void Spirit looks for openings elsewhere on the map.
