Marci vs Monkey King

How this matchup plays

Controlling Monkey King in a fight often comes down to a few key spells. Marci’s Rebound allows her to follow if he tries to escape into the trees, making it harder for him to disengage or get a good angle. The more significant interaction is Dispose, which can completely neutralize Wukong's Command by picking Monkey King up and throwing him out of his own ultimate. The rapid attacks from Unleash also put him on a short clock, punishing any positional mistake before he can get his spells off.

This dynamic puts the burden on the Monkey King player to constantly track Marci and her cooldowns. He can’t safely commit Wukong's Command unless he knows Dispose has already been used on a different target. This often forces him into reactive plays or suboptimal ultimate timings. While a patient Monkey King can still find windows to be effective, Marci’s kit gives her more direct control over his most important teamfight contribution, which tends to give her an advantage over the course of a game.
