Medusa vs Mirana

How this matchup plays

Catching a Sacred Arrow out of nowhere is a classic way for a Medusa to die. Mirana provides excellent long-range setup to help her team jump on you and burn through your Mana Shield before you can react. A well-placed arrow can completely halt your farming progression and open up the map for her team. However, Medusa is naturally durable against the kind of burst damage Mirana provides. If you survive the initial stun, Mirana has limited ways to finish the kill on her own. Leap also allows her to easily escape Stone Gaze, making it a tricky one-on-one but not an impossible one for either hero.

The game often comes down to timing and execution. Mirana’s team will try to play aggressively in the early and mid-game, using her ganking power to keep Medusa from hitting her item timings. A successful start for Mirana can snowball into a win before you're able to come online. Your goal as Medusa is to survive this pressure, farm safely with your team's protection, and eventually become too tanky for Mirana’s initiation to matter. Late in the game, you can run her team over if they haven't built a commanding lead.
