Medusa vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Thinking Snapfire's fast attacks and armor reduction will melt Medusa is a common trap. Medusa's tankiness comes from Mana Shield, not armor, so the shred from Lil' Shredder has less impact than you'd expect against her massive effective health pool. While Mortimer Kisses does deal magic damage, it's a channeled ultimate. A farmed Medusa can often stand her ground, absorb the damage, and use Stone Gaze to disrupt Snapfire or force her to cancel the spell. It becomes a trade of key cooldowns where neither hero has a decisive edge.

Early on, Snapfire can create pressure with her burst and set up kills with Firesnap Cookie, but Medusa is mostly concerned with her own farm timings. Later in the game, the matchup hinges entirely on team execution. If Snapfire's allies can help lock Medusa down and burn through her mana, she falls apart quickly. If Medusa’s team can peel for her through the initial burst, her sustained damage will eventually overwhelm Snapfire's side. The fight is won by the supporting cast, not by a direct hero counter.
