Medusa vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Medusa is the core of Tiny's problem. His whole kit is built around the Avalanche and Toss combo to delete a single hero, but Mana Shield effectively negates this. Tiny will often burn his entire mana pool and cooldowns to get through the shield, only to find Medusa still on high health and ready to fight back. All of his upfront damage is converted into a slow mana drain, leaving him completely exposed after his initial assault fails. A well-placed Mystic Snake can even leave him without enough mana to complete the combo.

This dynamic shapes the entire game. Tiny's strong mid-game ganking window is wasted on a target he can't kill, allowing Medusa to farm freely toward her lategame items. In teamfights, she becomes a fortress that Tiny can't approach. He either gets shredded by Split Shot trying to walk up to her or gets petrified by Stone Gaze. His only option is to ignore her and go for supports, but that leaves the biggest damage threat on the enemy team completely uncontested.
