Monkey King vs Tiny

How this matchup plays

Neither hero really answers the other, and that's because they create problems the other is almost designed to solve. Tiny’s Avalanche and Toss combo can instantly delete a grounded Monkey King. In response, Monkey King can use Tree Dance to stay off the ground entirely, waiting out the threat. If Tiny commits his spells and fails to secure the kill, Monkey King can easily turn the fight with a few stacks of Jingu Mastery. It’s a very circular interaction where both have a clear plan, but the other has a direct countermeasure for that exact plan.

This back-and-forth defines how the game plays out. Monkey King wants to control vision and play from the trees, looking for the perfect Wukong’s Command or a chance to jump on an isolated target. Tiny’s whole game is about punishing that. He wants to move with his team and capitalize on any moment Monkey King touches the ground, blowing him up before he can react. The matchup often comes down to who gets to initiate on their own terms, as neither hero is great at recovering if they get jumped first.
