Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Rubick wins the Morphling vs Rubick matchup: Rubick beats Morphling in 53.69% of 35,253 ranked matches.
Teamfights often hinge on Morphling getting caught before he can react. Rubick’s Telekinesis provides instant, reliable lockdown that catches Morphling before he has a chance to Attribute Shift back to strength, and that brief window is usually fatal. Beyond that direct counter, the threat of Spell Steal is constant. Every one of Morphling’s abilities is a fantastic spell for Rubick to take, giving him a long-range stun with Adaptive Strike or incredible mobility with Waveform. Stealing Morphling’s ultimate is even better, letting Rubick turn the hero’s own strengths against his team. This makes it incredibly difficult for Morphling to play his game, from laning where Fade Bolt weakens his farm, to late game fights.
