Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Morphling wins the Morphling vs Timbersaw matchup: Morphling beats Timbersaw in 51.72% of 9,194 ranked matches.
Trying to blow up a Morphling often ends badly for Timbersaw. The core of Timbersaw's kill threat is a fast burst of pure damage, but a Morphling with mana can usually survive the combo by shifting into Strength. This forces Timbersaw to either over-commit to a chase or retreat with his spells on cooldown. Because Morphling is an Agility hero, the attribute reduction from Whirling Death is also less impactful than it is against Strength heroes. The longer the game goes, the more the fight favors Morphling, whose high physical damage and lifesteal can overwhelm a Timbersaw who can no longer burst him down.
