Trying to land a kill with Mortimer Kisses can be frustrating against an Oracle. The slows from each impact are what keep a target in place, and Oracle can easily remove those debuffs with Fortune's End, letting his ally walk safely out of the fire. His ultimate, False Promise, is another powerful tool for surviving Snapfire's initial burst, whether from her ultimate or a combo with Firesnap Cookie. Oracle’s entire kit is built around negating the kind of single-target pickoff and area control that Snapfire relies on to win fights, creating a constant tug-of-war.

This dynamic really comes down to positioning and which hero gets the drop on the other. A well-played Snapfire will try to catch Oracle himself out of position, as he's quite fragile and can't save himself if he's the one stunned. Conversely, a good Oracle plays far back, ready to counter-initiate with a save the moment Snapfire sends a core flying in. Fights often hinge on which team has better vision and reaction time. The one who successfully executes their plan first usually wins the engagement, leaving little room for a consistent edge.
