Phantom Assassin vs Tinker

How this matchup plays

Playing from the trees as Tinker becomes a nightmare when there's a Phantom Assassin on the map. Tinker relies on distance and kiting to be effective, but PA's Phantom Strike lets her close that gap instantly. Once she's on top of him, her massive burst damage from Coup de Grace can often delete Tinker before he has a chance to Rearm and escape. While Tinker’s Laser can be annoying, PA's Blur makes her a naturally evasive target, and her goal is to end the fight so quickly that a single spell rarely matters.

This forces the entire game to warp around the threat. A Tinker who would normally be split-pushing and applying pressure is instead stuck playing defensively near his team. He's forced to buy items like Ghost Scepter or rely on teammates for saves, which slows down his own impact. Meanwhile, Phantom Assassin gets a clear objective: find and kill Tinker. With a Black King Bar, she can ignore his magical defenses completely, making it incredibly difficult for Tinker to have a safe place on the map.
