Phantom Assassin vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Zeus is a race against the clock. He has no way to avoid Phantom Assassin's physical damage once she's on top of him with Phantom Strike, and he's fragile enough to die to a quick critical hit. However, none of his own damage can be evaded. All of Zeus's spells will hit regardless of Blur, and his Lightning Bolt even provides true sight to track her movement. This makes him a consistent source of magical pressure that prevents her from freely picking off his allies without consequence.

The outcome often hinges on key item timings and who gets the jump first. A Phantom Assassin with a Black King Bar can run at Zeus and ignore his entire kit, which is usually enough time to secure the kill. In response, Zeus can build defensive items like a Force Staff or Ghost Scepter to survive that initial burst and create space. Fights boil down to whether PA can close the distance and execute him before he and his team can unload their spells. It's a classic glass cannon standoff where the initiator usually wins.
