Razor vs Void Spirit

How this matchup plays

Trying to pin down Void Spirit with Static Link is often a losing battle. Void Spirit can instantly break the connection with Dissimilate, completely denying Razor's main single-target threat. This forces Razor to find other heroes to drain or pivot to a different playstyle. Furthermore, because a lot of Void Spirit’s impact comes from magical burst and control, Razor stealing his right-click damage isn’t as devastating as it is against many other cores. It’s a fundamental mismatch of their primary tools.

This whole matchup hinges on execution in the early game. A good Razor can put on immense lane pressure with Plasma Field, forcing Void Spirit to burn through his mana using spells to secure last hits or escape. If Razor gets ahead, he can control the map and pressure towers, ignoring Void Spirit entirely. On the other hand, if Void Spirit survives the lane, his superior mobility allows him to dictate the pace of mid-game ganks and teamfights, always staying one step ahead of Razor's attempts to lock him down.
