Timbersaw vs Spectre

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst Spectre with Whirling Death and Chakram is often a death sentence for Timbersaw himself. Spectre's Dispersion reflects a portion of incoming damage back before any reductions, meaning Timbersaw's own pure damage output shreds his relatively small health pool. His Reactive Armor provides no protection from this. If Spectre also catches Timbersaw alone, her Desolate passive adds even more pure damage that completely bypasses his armor stacks, ensuring he can't survive for more than a few seconds against her.

Timbersaw's strategy relies on being an unkillable mid-game force, but Spectre is durable enough to weather that timing. Once she has Haunt, she can instantly jump on Timbersaw whenever he uses Timber Chain aggressively, helping her team isolate and kill him. Later in the game, the matchup becomes impossible. Timbersaw cannot function as a durable frontline tank when the enemy carry kills him by default. He's forced into a position where he can't effectively cast his spells in a teamfight without killing himself.
