Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Winter Wyvern wins the Timbersaw vs Winter Wyvern matchup: Winter Wyvern beats Timbersaw in 51.29% of 13,796 ranked matches.
Diving deep into a fight is what Timbersaw wants, but Winter Wyvern often makes it difficult. A well-placed Winter's Curse can lock him down and force his own teammates to attack him, completely halting his momentum. Even if Timbersaw does get on top of a priority hero, Cold Embrace provides a strong heal that can allow that target to survive his initial spell combo. While Timbersaw’s pure and magic damage goes through the physical immunity, the healing itself is frequently enough to reset the engagement. This gives Winter Wyvern's team a window to reposition and punish the overextended Timbersaw, creating a slight edge in teamfights.
