Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Winter Wyvern wins the Templar Assassin vs Winter Wyvern matchup: Winter Wyvern beats Templar Assassin in 54.68% of 15,080 ranked matches.
Seeing a physical-immune heal might make you think Winter Wyvern would be a good partner for Templar Assassin, but the opposite is true. The same abilities that make them awkward teammates make Wyvern a direct counter. Templar Assassin relies on Refraction to survive, but Arctic Burn's damage over time shreds its charges instantly, leaving her exposed. When she does commit to a kill with Meld, a well-timed Cold Embrace completely negates her burst and buys enough time for a counter-attack. Late game, Winter's Curse turns TA’s own immense physical damage against her allies, or simply holds her in place to be focused down. Every part of Wyvern's kit is designed to dismantle what TA wants to do.
