Terrorblade vs Windranger

How this matchup plays

Trying to kill a Windranger can feel impossible for Terrorblade. Her Windrun provides total evasion from his physical attacks, whether he's in Metamorphosis or not. This lets her survive his damage output and reposition to set up her own spells. With an item advantage, Windranger’s Focus Fire can often burst him down before he even has a chance to use Sunder. On the other hand, Terrorblade’s constant illusions make landing a clean Shackleshot very difficult. He can also time a Reflection to punish her if Windrun is on cooldown, forcing her to deal with a copy of her own damage.

The matchup often comes down to who gets the jump. Windranger wants to find Terrorblade while he's alone and farming, using her mobility and burst to secure a kill and slow his game. Terrorblade’s goal is to survive these ganks, using his illusions to scout and create chaos in fights. Once he has a BKB, he can ignore a lot of her lockdown and control. Ultimately, it’s a duel of positioning and cooldown management, where either hero can feel dominant if they execute their plan better than the other.
