Windranger vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Activating Windrun for safety does almost nothing against Zeus. His entire kit is magical, so the physical evasion is completely ignored. He can keep chipping away at Windranger with Arc Lightning and Static Field procs, and a single Lightning Bolt is enough to cancel her Powershot channel from a safe distance. This constant, unavoidable magic damage is tough for Windranger to deal with, as she's naturally fragile and prefers to fight heroes who rely on right-clicks she can dodge. Zeus's ability to provide vision with his spells also makes it harder for her to find good Shackleshot angles from the trees.

This pressure often forces Windranger out of lane early, slowing her farm. Later on, her usual ganking style is heavily disrupted. Trying to flank for a pickoff is risky when Zeus can reveal the whole map with Thundergod's Wrath or spot her in the trees with a random Bolt. To have any impact, Windranger is forced into buying a Black King Bar much earlier than she'd like, which delays her own damage timings. Zeus, on the other hand, can play his normal game, staying in the back and providing massive, reliable burst that Windranger struggles to survive.
